Zefren Present Lest You Forget

This is one of the first records that I bought and I always wanted to bring it to Youtube. I features both a duo pair of prolific song writer performers Eckstein and Harry Thomas; Both from Canada. There is little information on the song, the record company and the song writers and Performers. So if you have any contributing information please leave a comment. I havent been able to put any new records on here to many factor mainly being a lack of a job and copyright issues. I had to pretty much delete all my electrically recorded records as several music companies sent nicely worded letters and I had no choice. The argument is that regardless of the medium and historical content they own the song. I was such an ordeal I stopped working on my records. So after a small hiatus and more research on the records Ive come to another epiphany. I should try desensitizing my turntable to the sound range of an average Gramophone of the day. I didnt run any noise filters on this records, I merely tweaked the Equalization levels. So leave some comment on history of this record or my techniques. Lest You Forget Fox Trot (Eckstein-Howard) Played by the Harry Thomas Trio His Masters Voice (Canadian Victor Counterpart) 216396 Acoustically Recorded in 1922(?) Recorded in Shiprock New Mexico Monday, January 28, 2009 on a TTUSB ION turntable.

Zefren Presents I Wish I Knew - 1922

This record is 87 to 84 years old This little record is in excellent condition and the recording is crisp compared to other Victor records I have from the same year. The song is a simple a sweet fox trot that ends in every instrument having its turn in counter melody that is never overpowering. A definite capture of that lover melancholic lament lol that is universal and never changing. I wish I Knew you Loved Me (Robert Spencer Anderson Bryant ) Played by Clyde Doerr and His Orchestra The Victor Talking Machine Company 18947-B Acoustically Recorded in 08.25.1922 Recorded in Shiprock New Mexico Monday, March, 31, 2009 on a TTUSB ION turntable.
